The Black Port Audio Session

by American Zombie Inquisition

/
1.
Were I a boy once more. Again. If just for a day, even only a memory. Before I'd known all the wrongs of Men. Before I'd seen all the sins of the world. I would run to the edge of the Earth, and look out into nothing at all, and I would jump!
2.
Fade into white. Such a pale shade of grey. It illuminates the shadows. Out of focus. There is no word yet to speak. Threads given sway, ever so gently displaced, and it manifests in song. Sound ascending. Distance evolves yet unseen new demons in veil. Bring on the darkness. Suffer no more in the light, rejoicing in lessons of sorrows. The unknown brings new horizons. Guide my way with the Morning Star.

Telephones 11:04
Where've you gone? Where have I ended up? Do you still think about when we were young? Telephones were still tied to the wall. These city streets seemed so big, and yet so small. For a while, you were just a stones throw away, but many years separate our last embrace. Misery is a friend of mine. She practically sleeps in my bed, and when she offers herself to me, I practically feed on her flesh. Did I forget? Am I telling a lie? Did I make you feel like no more than a moment in time? Telephones came untied from the wall, but for many years I still never so much as called. Would I know you if we met today eye to eye, or would I just keep my head down, and just walk right on by? Misery is a friend of mine. She practically sleeps in my bed, and when she offers herself to me, I practically feed on her flesh.
